ICAT

The mission of the Internet Communications Action Team (ICAT) is to provide administrative and technical support services to the chapter for the two chapter sponsored lists on the RiseUp.net listserv and for the chapter website. This effort is done under the direction and guidance of the board.

Chapter E-mail Lists

The chapter uses two email lists hosted by RiseUp.net as communication tools. Below is information on the lists. Only subscribers can send messages to these lists, so all members are encouraged to subscribe to the lists and to use them as outlined below.

 

VFP92 [Official] List

The VFP92 list provides a means for Chapter members to exchange information among themselves that is directly related to Chapter business (actions/activities/mission statement). This is accomplished by sending an email message to the address -- vfp92 @ lists.riseup.net -- which is then sent to all the lists subscribers. It also is a tool for communications and a means of knowledge sharing and gathering by the Chapters members.

VFP92 ["Speaks"] List

The VFP92speak list provides a means for Chapter members to exchange a wide range of information and ideas of a common interest. This is accomplished by sending an email message to the address -- vfp92speak @ lists.riseup.net -- which is then sent to all the lists subscribers. It is a tool for communications and a means of knowledge sharing and gathering by the Chapters members -- us. This list is not a forum for official Chapter announcements or Board of Director interchanges.
